La decimoctava sesión del Comité Intergubernamental para la Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial tendrá lugar en Kasane, República de Botsuana, del lunes 4 al sábado 9 de diciembre de 2023. La ceremonia de apertura está programada tentativamente para el domingo 3 de diciembre de 2023. La sesión estará presidida por S.E. Sr. Mustaq Moorad, Embajador y Delegado Permanente de la República de Botsuana ante la UNESCO.
Se llevará a cabo una sesión de información e intercambio en la Sede de la UNESCO, París, el 2 de octubre de 2023 (por la tarde) para presentar los métodos de trabajo del Comité, así como información práctica sobre esta sesión. Esta sesión de información e intercambio también será retransmitida en directo a través de la página web de la 18.COM.
