The twenty-first session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will take place from Monday 30 November to Saturday 5 December 2026 in Xiamen, China. The session will be chaired by H.E. Mr GAO Zheng, Vice-Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China.
An information and exchange meeting is scheduled on 22 September 2026 to present the working methods of the Committee as well as practical information concerning this session. This information and exchange meeting will also be broadcast live on the 21.COM webpage.
More information will be provided in due course on the present webpage.
Registration for the 21st session of the Committee will only be possible through this official website, tentatively from September 2026. No other channel, link or registration form should be used.
Note that UNESCO does not charge any fee during the registration process.
