Nikolai Vukov is Head of Department of Anthropology of Verbal Traditions at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with the Ethnographic Museum in Sofia. His fields of expertise include verbal traditions, ICH in emergencies and migration, gender and reconciliation in post-conflict societies. Nikolai Vukov has experience in developing needs assessments and facilitating workshops on living heritage safeguarding in several countries in Europe and Central Asia. He represented Bulgaria at the Intergovernmental Committee (2014-2017) and is currently member of the executive board of the European Network of Focal Points for the 2003 Convention (ENFP).
