The online workshops is organized as part of the inception phase of the project, “International Food Atlas and Digital Platform for safeguarding, promoting and transmitting foodways to future generations”, focusing, in particular, on the development of the project’s digital platform. The workshop will bring together experts on living heritage and creators/initiators/managers of innovative digital platforms in the areas of foodways, and biocultural and cultural heritage, to engage them in a joint reflection on:

Establishing the main contents and tools that the Food Atlas digital platform should include, to support awareness-raising on, capacity-building for, and transmission of living heritage.
Identifying how the digital platform can strengthen the engagement of younger generations in safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage, leveraging the potential of the digital environment and digital tools.
Identifying the best positioning for the digital platform to ensure the strongest added value and visibility.
The workshop is one of two sessions organized at different time-slots to allow for global participation.
