Gabriel Mancera no. 725 Colonia del valle, Alcaldía Benito Juárez, C.P. 03100 CDMX (México) Silvia Olvera Sánchez | El XI festival mundial del Bolero representa una reunión de boleristas de todo el mundo en el que por tres noches se dedican a compartir su talento y sus propuestas musicales basadas en el Bolero, práctica cultural inscrita en la Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad en diciembre del 2023. Aquí se unen más de 150 intérpretes, ejecutantes que se encargan de mantener viva esta tradición musical con nuevos arreglos y a veces nuevas composiciones. XI Festival Mundial del Bolero represents a reunion of boleristas from all around the world in which for three nights they share their talent and musical proposal, all based on Bolero, a cultural practice inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in December 2023. More than 150 performers get together, they are the people responsible for keeping this musical tradition alive with new arrangements and sometimes, new compositions. Gabriel Mancera no. 725 Colonia del valle, Alcaldía Benito Juárez, C.P. 03100 CDMX (México) Silvia Olvera Sánchez | Tardes de Bolero son eventos públicos gratuitos organizados por el Instituto Bolero México, para fomentar y preservar la práctica cultural del Bolero con la comunidad. Hemos realizado 35 Tardes de Bolero en conjunto con asociaciones gubernamentales y educativas como Los Pinos, Alcaldía Tlalpan, Museo Nacional de las Culturas del Mundo, Escuela Superior de Música, Instituto Politécnico Nacional, entre otras. En estos eventos se ha participado con más de 165 intérpretes y compositores que se dedican a fomentar la práctica cultural del bolero entre poblaciones de todas las edades. Este concierto se realiza en conjunto con el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura a través del Centro Nacional de las Artes y la Escuela Superior de Música. Aquí participarán intérpretes nacionales de gran trayectoria artística, que impulsarán la práctica cultural del bolero entre las nuevas generaciones. Bolero Afternoons are free public events organized by the Instituto Bolero México, to promote and preserve the cultural practice of Bolero with the community. We have held 35 Bolero Afternoons in conjunction with government and educational associations such as Los Pinos, Tlalpan Mayor’s Office, National Museum of World Cultures, Higher School of Music, National Polytechnic Institute, among others. More than 165 performers and composers have participated in these events who are dedicated to promoting the cultural practice of bolero among populations of all ages. This concert is held in conjunction with the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature through the National Center for the Arts and the Higher School of Music. National performers with a great artistic career will participate here, who will promote the cultural practice of bolero among new generations.
