Marcellin Zango holds a Master’s degree in law from Thomas Sankara University and a diploma in cultural affairs. He served as Director of Cultural Heritage Preservation and Promotion in the Burkinabe Ministry of Culture from 2013 to 2020. He has furthermore attended many training courses related to the 2003 Convention, facilitating its implementation by applying its concepts, training teams, and providing technical support for the implementation and monitoring of national projects to safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of various communities.
