Bathusi Lesolobe is an intellectual property consultant and creative industries leader with over fifteen years of experience. I am currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Odiless Consult (PTY) LTD, based in Gaborone, Botswana. I have also served as the National ICH Expert for Botswana in the past sixteen years, where I advised the National ICH Committee on the implementation of the 2003 Convention, leading successful nominations of four elements to the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding, two successful requests for international assistance, and representing Botswana at the 18th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee. I hold BA Humanities, MA (English) Theatre Studies and Masters in Intellectual Property.
