Mustapha Jlok is an anthropologist and cultural heritage expert. He began his career studying vernacular earthen architecture before joining an institute dedicated to culture, much of which is intangible. His time at the Human Rights Council helped him smoothly grasp the legal framework of the Convention and factor this into its implementation.
