In 2020, I co-facilitated national trainings in Palestine (August-November), covering Key Concepts of the 2003 Convention, Community Based Inventorying, Safeguarding, Preparation of Nominations Files, and International Assistance Requests. I co-led the preparation of the State of Palestine’s periodic report on the implementation of the 2003 Convention. Conducted between August, 2022 and January 2023.

In 2023, I provided technical training to the Palestinian Ministry’s team and community actors. This included training the Ministry of Culture’s heritage department on preparing international assistance requests, as well as facilitating three workshops with 36 heritage organizations and individual practitioners to strengthen their engagement in the process.

More recently, in June 2025, I facilitated a regional training in Jordan on the 2003 convention key concepts of safeguarding, community based Inventorying process, as well as obligations of State parties, gender and ICH, and international assistance requests.
