A national of Benin, Paul Akogni is a cultural heritage manager and has been member of the Global Network of Facilitators of the 2003 Convention since 2019. Over a 10-year period, he held various technical positions at the Benin Ministry of Culture. After six years as Director of Cultural Heritage, he became Director General of the Agency to protect Adja-Tado Culture in 2024. As a lecturer and researcher at the University of Abomey-Calavi, he is also noted for his pedagogical and scientific activities, focused exclusively on cultural heritage.
