Efforts within the framework of intangible cultural heritage towards the priority “Focus on Africa” are mainly directed to capacity-building of the African states to safeguard their intangible heritage.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of meetings/workshops/projects that the Intangible Heritage Section is or have been implementing in Africa, in collaboration with UNESCO Fiels Offices and various partners.
