Primer Encuentro Patrimonial Cartago “Vivamos nuestro Bordado”

Fortalecer, visibilizar y dinamizar el patrimonio cultural inmaterial del bordado cartagüeño a través del 1er Encuentro Patrimonial “Vivamos nuestro Bordado”, promoviendo su transmisión intergeneracional, su valoración social y su proyección como eje de identidad cultural y desarrollo local.

Programa del evento

Día 1 – Viernes 17 de octubre

  • 9:00 a.m. Apertura oficial y bienvenida institucional
  • 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Recorrido gratuito por las instalaciones del museo. Feria de emprendedores, exposición y venta de productos bordados hechos a mano
  • 11:00 a.m. Muestra de bordado en vivo
  • 2:00 p.m. Conversatorio del bordado como vocación y labor de oficio a cargo de la fundadora y directora del museo del bordado CALLE REAL, SANDRA PATRICIA LOPERA T. Inscripción previa, cupo limitado
  • 4:00 p.m. Actividad práctica para jóvenes El juego y el arte. Inscripción previa, cupo limitado
  • 5:00 p.m. Presentación artística
  • 6:00 p.m. Cierre de la jornada

Día 2 – Sábado 18 de octubre

  • 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Recorrido gratuito por las instalaciones del museo. Feria de emprendedores, exposición y venta de productos bordados hechos a mano
  • 9:00 a.m. Charla virtual El hilo como voz: bordado y arte contemporáneo a cargo de la artista plástica CLAUDIA MARCELA ESCOBAR, un encuentro con bordadoras de Cartago. Inscripción previa y participación gratuita
  • 2:00 p.m. Reconocimiento de salvaguardia a bordadoras por su labor de oficio
  • 5:00 p.m. Presentación artística
  • 6:00 p.m. Cierre de la jornada, despedida y agradecimientos

To strengthen, promote, and revitalize the intangible cultural heritage of Cartago embroidery through the 1st Heritage Gathering “Let’s Live Our Embroidery”, fostering its intergenerational transmission, social appreciation, and projection as a cornerstone of cultural identity and local development.

  • 5:00 p.m. Artistic performance
  • 6:00 p.m. Closing of the day

Day 2 – Saturday, 18 October

  • 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free guided tours of the museum. Entrepreneurs’ fair, exhibition and sale of handmade embroidered products
  • 9:00 a.m. Virtual talk Thread as a Voice: Embroidery and Contemporary Art by visual artist CLAUDIA MARCELA ESCOBAR, in dialogue with embroiderers from Cartago. Pre-registration required, free participation
  • 2:00 p.m. Safeguarding recognition ceremony honouring embroiderers for their craftsmanship
  • 5:00 p.m. Artistic performance
  • 6:00 p.m. End of the event, farewell and acknowledgements
