International Symposium and Round Table: Kazakhstan's Diplomacy and Overseas Relationship in 15th – 17th centurie
Introducing the New Artifacts from Overseas Museums and Archives and Shaping the Scholar’s Vision
The National Commission of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ICESCO in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information and Ministry of Science and Higher Education, will organize an international symposium and round table on the new findings related to the origins of the Kazakh intangible heritage in private collections and overseas museums and libraries.
The upcoming event, scheduled for October 16 and 17, 2025 will be dedicated to the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The purpose of the symposium is to raise awareness about the safeguarding of the ICH artifacts which are considered to be a part of the national identity. The experts and scholars from different East and West countries will share their experiences on new approaches for the safeguarding and promoting of living heritage in museums and libraries.
The round table intends to promote academic cooperation between East and West countries (Japan, Kazakhstan, Belgium, China, France, Russia, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) in consideration and promotion of the ICH artifacts, which serve important solid part of the nomadic culture.
Two C2C centers (IRCI in Osaka and TICH in Tehran) will share with participants on its work in safegiarding of the ICH and Convention 2003 promotion.
