8th International Festival of the Intangible Cultural Heritage 21/04/2022 - 25/04/2022Chengdu Contact: Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China (China) | The eighth ICH Festival will be held in Chengdu with the theme of ‘Respect Cultural Diversity and Activate Human Creativity’. With support from Sichuan and Chongqing, the ICH Festival will extensively carry out theme activities of Bashu culture offline and online. It will launch four sections: Intangible Cultural Heritage from Five Continents; Bashu Intangible Cultural Heritage; Fashion Intangible Cultural Heritage; Cloud Intangible Cultural Heritage |
7th International Festival of the Intangible Cultural Heritage 17/10/2019 - 22/10/2019Chengdu Contact: Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China (China) | The ICH Festival have been successfully held for six sessions with more than 2,000 events participated by over 500 performing teams, over 4,000 representatives from 465 countries and regions, over 40,000 representatives from within China, covering 20 million citizens and tourists. The Festival has functioned as an international platform for enhancing the visibility of the 2003 Convention and promoting ICH safeguarding. This year, the Festival will consist of international forums, exhibitions, competitions and exhibitions. |
6th International Festival of the Intangible Cultural Heritage 10/06/2017 - 18/06/2017Chengdu, Sichuan Province Contact: Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China (China) | Over the past ten years, the Festival has attracted ICH professionals and practitioners from over 100 countries and regions.
