Less than eight weeks to go until the 12th session of the Committee!

With just under eight weeks to go, preparations are well underway for the start of the twelfth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which will take place in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, from Monday 4 to Saturday 9 December 2017.

In its meeting on 3 October 2017, the Bureau approved the provisional timetable of the Committee session, which can now be consulted online at: https://ich.unesco.org/en/12com. A general information document containing details about the organization of the session is also available on the same webpage.

Participants are kindly requested to register as soon as possible, and no later than 10 November 2017. Registration can be completed online at: https://ich.unesco.org/en/registration-00947.

The Secretariat will be making all of the Committee documents available online by no later than 6 November 2017, in both working languages of the Committee (English and French). They will be available at: https://ich.unesco.org/en/12com.
