I have been involved with ICH Safeguarding through intergenerational transfer at institutional (Schools, HEI, Museums) and community level by reinvigorating traditional learning spaces and methods. Trained as an architect planner, my approach is to integrate ICH in Conservation/ Preservation tasks, by ensuring that TBs have an active role in transmittal and strengthening as a Safeguarding Plan. Worked extensively in developing Safeguarding Plans facilitating urban poor, rural, nomadic communities, (inventorying, research, nomination files, developing sustainable SG Plan), anchoring cultural assets for economic and social empowerment of communities. Promotion of Heritage Sites by using elements of ICH. Assisted government with policy development.
