Anthropologist. 26 years of experience in safeguarding living cultural heritage in Latin America and the Caribbean. Specialist in the implementation of the 2003 UNESCO Convention, with an emphasis on public policy design, inventories, capacity building, and the formulation of safeguarding plans.
Extensive experience working with heritage communities, public institutions, and international organizations, promoting participatory, sustainable, and culturally relevant approaches. She has
participated in institutional mediation processes and the development of theoretical, methodological, instrumental,and pedagogical resources for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in 11 Latin American countries. She was technical lead for the implementation of the 2003 UNESCO Convention in Venezuela.
