Alla Stashkevich is a heritage expert with an MA in history, postgraduate studies in art, and an international diploma in cultural heritage protection. Currently an independent expert, lecturer at the European Humanities University in Lithuania, and project manager at the Belarusian Heritage Institute Foundation in Warsaw. Her experience includes serving as Belarus’s expert to the Intergovernmental Committee (up to 2021), coordinating the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory of Belarus, periodic reporting under the 2003 Convention , undertaking needs assessments, and facilitating trainings. Her current work focuses on safeguarding, inventorying, capacity building, ethics in living heritage safeguarding, and heritage policies.
