The Festivity of Virgen de la Candelaria of Puno – Peru is a religious and cultural manifestation that combines Quechua, Aymara, and Mestizo traditions in honor of the Patron Saint of the city of Puno. It takes place from February 1 to February 15 (with February 2 as the main day) and is considered the largest cultural, musical, dance, and religious celebration of the Peruvian highlands, unique in its kind in the Andes.
