Meglena Zlatkova, PhD, is Associate Professor in Social Anthropology at the University of Plovdiv “Paisii Hilendarsky”, Bulgaria, and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and History. She has been a member of the Global Network of Facilitators since 2018. Her work focuses on intangible cultural heritage, urban anthropology, migration and borders in South-Eastern Europe. Her recent research explores living heritage and sustainable development, including biocultural heritage and local communities. She served as a member of the National Selection Commission for Intangible Cultural Heritage in Bulgaria and she participates in diverse university and regional capacity-building networks.
