Preserving intangible cultural heritage has been one of his responsibilities ever since he joined the Ministry of Culture. From 2011 to 2024, he served in turn as an officer at the Pan-African Music Festival Museum (where his responsibilities included safeguarding performance using traditional musical instruments), then Office Manager at the Directorate of Museums, Monuments, and Historic Sites, Director of Archaeological Excavations, and then Director General of Heritage and Archives. He has gained experience in intangible cultural heritage through his work, reinforced by various training programmes.
