Ms Gabriela López Moreno

Gabriela holds a Bachelor in Anthropology, a Master in Management of Local Community Development by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE), and Postgraduate course in management of intangible cultural heritage by the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. Her professional career has been developed in the public management of culture and cultural heritage holding technical and executive positions for about 20 years in the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INPC) and the Municipality of Quito.

She currently serves as Director of Technical Control, Conservation and Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage at the INPC. Speaker at seminars, workshops and meetings on intangible cultural heritage at the national and international levels, Gabriela has authored several articles related to historical memory and cultural heritage. She is also a member of the Editorial Committee of magazines specialized in cultural heritage.
