Mbaitoubam Koumnde has worked on awareness-raising to promote a better understanding of the 2003 Convention. He has conducted ICH inventory operations involving affected communities using a participatory approach, in accordance with the spirit of the 2003 Convention. He has provided technical support to preserve inventoried elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage. He has handled the nomination process (nomination files) for the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. He has prepared periodic reports, international assistance etc.
