Jean-Paul Koudougou is the President of ICOM-Africa (Alliance of African National Committees for the International Council of Museums). He has worked as Museum Curator and Restorer, and as Technical Services Inspector. He has a Master’s degree in political and social history, and a diploma in Advanced Professional Studies in Cultural Heritage Management. He was an adjunct Professor of “Museology” at colleges and universities. He is a National Facilitator for the 2003 Convention. He has trained National Facilitators for the 2003 Convention in Burkina Faso. He coordinated the launch for the pilot phase of the project for inventory and promotion of intangible cultural heritage – Burkina Faso/UNESCO (2014).
