I am an anthropologist at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, studying heritage policies and global governance by tracing the social life of the ICH Convention from the global arena to local heritage projects. As holder of the UNESCO Chair in Intangible Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development at CY Cergy Paris Université, I explore how sustainability priorities are reshaping heritage, from an object of protection to a resource for resilience. My current research examines the intersections between intangible cultural heritage and the circular economy, with a particular focus on practices of repair, reuse, and frugal innovation.
