She leads the Safeguarding and Protection Department at the Heritage Commission, Ministry of Culture, Saudi Arabia, advancing community centered approaches, policy integration, and the alignment of ICH with sustainable development. Holding an Advanced Master’s in Heritage Management from IE University, she combines international expertise with national implementation. Reem actively contributes to global capacity building through lectures, training, and strategic initiatives, strengthening the role of living heritage as a driver of identity, resilience, and sustainable futures.
