The 2003 Convention has moved to a single global submission system of periodic reporting, following the approval by the eleventh session of the General Assembly (Resolution 11.GA 7).
In order to support this move, the Word version of the revised reporting forms (Form ICH-10 and Form ICH-11) have been made available: https://ich.unesco.org/en/forms
All States Parties are expected to submit their reports using these revised forms for the new deadline of 30 June 2027 to report on:
· The implementation of the 2003 Convention in their countries,
· The status of elements inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and
· The status of elements inscribed on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.
The reporting forms have been simplified to significantly reduce the number of questions to alleviate the burden on reporting States, while maintaining a clear alignment with the Overall Results Framework of the 2003 Convention.
The simplification of these forms is the result of a participatory consultation undertaken in the framework of the reflection year, following the completion of the first regional cycle of reporting – this process included five online regional consultations in April and May 2025, and a global reflection meeting held online from 28 to 30 April 2026.
As a next step, the online version of the revised reporting forms is being prepared to facilitate electronic submission (target date: 30 September 2026).
