The second edition of the International Day of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will be observed on 17 October 2025. To mark the occasion, a web-based campaign has been launched to highlight activities planned around the world.

States Parties to the 2003 Convention and communities, as well as non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions, category 2 centres, UNESCO Chairs and educational actors, are invited to contribute to the celebration by organizing events and activities between 1 and 31 October 2025. These initiatives aim to underscore the diversity and richness of living heritage and to raise awareness of the importance of its safeguarding.

A dedicated logo bearing the mention ‘In support of the International Day of the Intangible Cultural Heritage’ is available and may be shared for use in this context, in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
