The deadline approaches (15 January 2015) for the first 97 non-governmental organizations accredited to provide advisory services to the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage to submit their reports on the contribution and the commitment of the organization and their relations with the Committee. These first 97 NGOs were accredited in 2010, during the third session of the General Assembly.

This process provides an opportunity for NGOs to report on and highlight the contribution they are making to the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage and implementation of the Convention at the national level, as well as their contribution to the work of the Committee and their capacities to provide advisory services to it.

Report forms were sent to the 97 NGOs concerned in October 2014 and the Secretariat looks forward to receiving their completed reports by 15 January 2015 (see the Form ICH-08 Report downloadable from the forms page). The Secretariat will not be able to accept 2015 reports after this deadline.
