The workshop to be held from 11 to 12 March, 2024 at UNESCO Headquarters (Paris, France)is aimed at exploring foodways global priorities. The expert workshop will constitute an opportunity to share inputs collected in the first three workshops and engage in discussions about remaining gaps and potential challenges in each of the project’s outputs. This reflection includes considerations around the inclusion of UNESCO’s global priorities (Priority Africa and gender equality) through a diversity of voices, as well as the specific experiences from Indigenous Peoples.
The workshop will also address potential synergies with other programmes and conventions, and how they can be enhanced through the project.
