This event is a pre-workshop webinar for incoming members from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) joining the Global facilitators network under the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The webinar will gather all incoming facilitators from the LAC chapter of the global network and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to support the capacity-building programme for the effective implementation of the 2003 Convention.

As recognized resource persons, the new facilitators will help to create links between the Convention and local and regional actors of living heritage safeguarding working in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.
