Decision of the Bureau: 4.COM 1.BUR 3

The Bureau,

  1. Recalling Article 18 of the Convention;
  2. Further recalling chapter 1.4 of the Operational Directives related to Programmes, projects and activities that best reflect the principles and objectives of the Convention and 2.2 related to International Assistance;
  3. Taking note of the withdrawal of the requests for Preparatory Assistance n  00262, 00291 and 00295;
  4. Having examined the requests for Preparatory Assistance n  00177 and n  00293 for elaborating a proposal of a Programme, Project or Activity to be selected as best reflecting the Principles and Objectives of the Convention;
  5. Approves, as authorized body, the following requests for Preparatory Assistance for elaborating a proposal of a Programme, Project or Activity to be selected as best reflecting the Principles and Objectives of the Convention:

          Bolivia, Chile and Peru (multinational request n  00177), for the project “Aymara Cultural Universe”, for an amount of USD 7,500.
