XV edition of the "Ethnoi. Cultures, languages, minorities"
“Ethnoi. Cultures, languages, minorities” is promoted and organized by the CEiC Ethnographie Center of the Campanian Islands/ Institute of Historical and Anthropological Studies (Ischia, Naples), in agreement with the Department of Cultural Heritage Sciences and the Interdepartmental Laboratory of Anthropology “Annabella Rossi” of the University of Salemo, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and the local authorities of Campania.
Conferences, meetings, panel discussions, documentaries, shows, exhibitions dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage will take place from the beginning of September until the end of December 2023, within and on the occasion of the XV edition of the “Ethnoi. Cultures, languages, minorities”.
The events will concern in particular the living traditions of the Campania Region, and will be held into the university campus of the University of Salerno and in other locations in Campania.
Many awareness-raising initiatives for the protection and enhancement of intangible cultural heritage will take place in schools and villages in the different provinces of Campania.
