We are living heritage!
On the occasion of the first International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Czechia has launched an awareness-raising campaign to promote and popularise the concept of intangible cultural heritage and the 2003 Convention.
Through social media, public presentations, or the screening of documentaries about ICH on Czech national television, people will learn about the principles of the Convention, the role of ICH in our lives and the meaningfulness of its safeguarding. The campaign was started during the open days at the Czech Ministry of Culture (28/10/2024). Museums responsible for safeguarding ICH in regions will also participate with their activities.
