“Maestros del Hórreo”: proyección del documental y mesa redonda
Con motivo de la celebración del 17 de octubre como Día Internacional del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial, el Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España proyectará el documental “Maestros del Hórreo”, seguido de una mesa redonda. La actividad estará abierta a todos los públicos previa inscripción.
“Maestros del Hórreo” fue realizado en 2021 por la Asociación del Hórreo Asturiano en el marco de las Ayudas a proyectos de salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial que convoca anualmente la Dirección General de Patrimonio Cultural y Bellas Artes, gracias a la cual se han financiado decenas de proyectos de investigación y difusión en toda España desde 2018.
El documental aborda la pluralidad de oficios vinculados a la fabricación de hórreos en el norte de España, centrándose en su valor artesanal pero también en la función social que han tenido y tienen estos bienes en gran parte de nuestro territorio, generando una comunidad patrimonial muy activa. La proyección estará seguida de una mesa redonda en la que participarán el director del documental, un maestro horrero, la coordinadora del Plan Nacional de Arquitectura Tradicional y la coordinadora del Plan Nacional de Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial.
“Maestros del Hórreo”: documentary screening and round table
On the occasion of the celebration of October 17th as the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Cultural Heritage Institute of Spain will screen the documentary “Maestros del Hórreo”, followed by a round table. The activity will be open to all audiences upon registration.
“Maestros del Hórreo” was produced in 2021 by the Hórreo Asturiano Association within the framework of the Grants for projects to safeguard the Intangible Cultural Heritage convened annually by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Fine Arts, thanks to which dozens of research and dissemination projects have been financed throughout Spain since 2018.
The documentary addresses the plurality of trades linked to the manufacture of hórreos in the north of Spain, focusing on their artisanal value but also on the social function that these assets have had and have in a large part of our territory, generating a very active heritage community. The screening will be followed by a round table discussion with the participation of the director of the documentary, a master craftsman, the coordinator of the National Plan for Traditional Architecture and the coordinator of the National Plan for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage.
