On October 17th, there will be a symposium at the National Museum of Iceland on the occasion of the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage. There will be a variety of talks about traditions, crafts and customs.

A short film will be shown that was made on the occasion of Swimming pool Culture in Iceland being nominated for UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The film was a joint project of the Ministry of Culture and Trade and the City of Reykjavík.
