Exhibition of members of the ULUPUBIH gallery

The planned project involves organizing an exhibition of works by members of the Association of Applied Artists and Designers of B&H, which will be held at the ULUPUBiH Gallery, located in the very center of Sarajevo.
As a representative professional association that brings together professionals in the field of design and visual communication, ULUPUBiH wants to provide its members with a platform for presenting their own creativity to the general public through this exhibition.
The exhibition will present works from various sections within the association, including: graphic design, product design, photography, interior design, fashion design, costume and set design, multimedia and unique design.

This exhibition is designed as a contribution to the celebration of the International Day for the Intangible Cultural Heritage, with the aim of highlighting the diversity and richness of living cultural practices, and raising awareness of the importance of its preservation and transmission to future generations. Through the works of contemporary authors, the exhibition shows how inherited cultural elements from Bosnia and Herzegovina — such as motifs from stećak tombstones, bosančica (ancient Bosnian script), traditional ornaments, and well-known cultural and historical symbols and locations such as Sebilj, the Eternal Flame (Vječna vatra), or traditional objects such as ewer (ibrik) — find their place in contemporary expression, whether through design, illustration, photography, or the form of an object. In this way, the works in the exhibition not only refer to heritage, but also reinterpret it in the spirit of contemporary artistic language, creating a connection between past and present identity.
