30th Peniche Bobbin Lace Contest / XXX Concurso de Renda de Bilros de Peniche
Peniche Bobbin Lace has more than 400 years of history. This exhibition displays the works of lacemakers submitted to the 30th Bobbin Lace Contest. The Municipality of Peniche created the first Bobbin Lace Contest in 1990, and since then, the finest laces have been presented. This contest aims to encourage participants and seeks to develop, renew, and promote Peniche bobbin lace.
The exhibition is open to the public at the Peniche Bobbin Lace Museum, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with free entry.
