The Festival of Imagination, created in 1997, promotes music, dance and ritual
performances of peoples and civilizations of the contemporary world; thematic
exhibitions enhance the audiovisual and material collections; the Cahiers du CFPCI disseminate the presentations of the international conference; the IWC prize allows a young researcher to develop a project of study and valorization of a spectacular form and/ or music little known or even unknown in France; the INEDIT record label highlights threatened or little-known musical traditions.
