Ms Evrim Ölçer Özünel

Assoc. Prof. Dr Evrim Ölçer Özünel is a faculty at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Department of Turkish Folklore. Özünel lectures museology of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), creative cities, urban folklore, sustainable development and culture, gender and ICH and world cuisine culture. She is a member of ICOM and the coordinator of Ankara Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum. She is also a member of ICH Chair and the member of accredited NGO on ICH. Özünel is a member of Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee at Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, UNESCO Silk Road Online Platform, and she is also a UNESCO-ICH facilitator. She has been following General Assembly and Intergovernmental Committee meetings of ICH. Besides she participated in many expert meetings on ICH in different areas. She conducted many international field works and projects, published articles in international journals and books on safeguarding and museology of intangible cultural heritage.
