Dr. Mostafa holds a PhD in Heritage and Museum Studies and serves as Professor of Museum Education at Helwan University, with additional teaching appointments at the University of Sharjah and Cairo University. A central focus of her work is the integration of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, particularly within World Heritage Sites, where she advocates for holistic approaches that recognize the inseparable relationship between physical heritage and the living traditions, knowledge, and practices associated with it. Her international project portfolio spans ICH capacity-building, transmission, policy development, visibility studies, creative industries, documentation, and UNESCO inscription processes across Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kenya, and the United Arab Emirates.
