Senior researcher in cultural anthropology and folklore, with a habilitation in the field of traditional culture. As a member of The National Commission for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Romania she was actively involved in actions concerning the implementation of the 2003 Convention, national inventory, nominations for the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and various other activities focusing on ICH bearers.
