Currently a Member of Cultural Heritage Committee (World Heritage/Intangible Cultural Heritage) of the Republic of Korea, Dr Bak obtained PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Harvard University. She is also a professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul.
