International Folk Dance Festival “ Culture Connects” 18th to 21st October 2023

Charu Castle Foundation, Ghaziabad is going to organize a Gala cultural festival “Culture Connects” International Folk Dance Festival, supported by Uttar Pradesh Tourism (U.P.Govt.), CIOFF INDIA (CIOFF® is an Official Partner of UNESCO, accredited to the UNESCO ICH Committee) from 18th to 21st October 2023 at Noida and Ghaziabad (U.P.) in which folk dancers in groups from India & Abroad, will take part to show their region’s folk dances, representing their states & countries for National /International Integration ,Unity & Peace.

We are celebrating the vibrant Culture through Folk Dances as one of the rich element of ICH (Performing arts) before the society; this International activity of Charu castle foundation will give the audience a learning experience about the rich culture of India and various countries.
Chairman of CCF, Mr. Kapur V Bhan says “Culture is medium of understanding each other in better way” is a statement that fulfills the mission of the festival to promote the Culture to the various genres that also support the objective of UNESCO 2003 Convention. This activity is organised “In support of the 20th anniversary of the 2003 Convention”.

Highlights of the Festival:
1) Performances of International and National Folk Dances
2) Conference on Culture – Participation by India and International Speakers.
3) Photo Exhibition of different culture. (Folk Dances / Costumes / Musical Instruments) and other.
4) Visit to the Heritage Structures. To know the importance of Tangible heritage.

The festival is supported by Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture (Government of Uttar Pradesh) under the guidance of Sh.Mukesh Kr. Meshram (IAS), Principal Sec. Culture and Tourism, U.P.Government.

This 2023 International will give the audience a memorable unforgettable experience while connecting them to world culture. “Culture Knows no boundaries”

This festival is organized by CCF, as its annual folklore event 22nd edition. In the past 21 editions more than 62240 female folkdancers already participated from India and various countries.
