Intangible Cultural Heritage in the European Union Legal Frameworks
We are organising a hybrid workshop online and at the University of Milan-Bicocca titled ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage in the European Union Legal Frameworks’. The workshop will link the work of STEPPO and the EPPO sub-committee on cultural heritage crime in the EU, with the objectives and implementation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention in the European Union. The workshop will focus on refugee and migrant intangible cultural heritage, and will also feature an intervention by Prof Toshiyuko Kono to provide the Japanese experience as a comparator.
