Sociologist, art historian; I hold a master’s degree in development and a master’s degree in Territorial Planning with Cultural Relevance. Currently working as a consultant, I have lectured courses on gender and human rights; defence of the territory from an Indigenous Peoples’ perspective. I have 15 years of experience in facilitating processes for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage within frameworks for Indigenous Peoples’ collective rights. I have worked with women, non-governmental organizations, public officials, indigenous authorities and teachers on planning, monitoring and evaluating safeguarding projects, with a focus on the identification and valuation of ICH.
