Delivery at country level

At the country level, UNESCO carries out needs assessments, mobilizes resources and designs and implements multi-year projects, all tailored to the needs of each beneficiary country. More than 60 countries have benefitted from these comprehensive capacity-building projects.

While training activities are the most visible landmarks within the capacity-building strategy, there are several other modalities that UNESCO builds into capacity-building projects, including policy review, guided pilot activities, consultations and advisory services.
