The 2025 Beijing International Week of Intangible Cultural Heritage
The Beijing International Week of Intangible Cultural Heritage is a large-scale international cultural exchange and exhibition event themed on intangible cultural heritage, held biennially. The 2025 Beijing International Week of Intangible Cultural Heritage is scheduled for October 2025 and will showcase distinctive intangible cultural heritage projects from around the world while serving as an international platform for exchange.
Intangible Cultural Heritage Makes Life Wonderful
The 2025 Beijing International Week of Intangible Cultural Heritage will feature four main sections. They are the Opening Ceremony, the International Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, the Dialogue on Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Market.
- Opening Ceremony: The ceremony will feature performances of intangible cultural heritage items inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, particularly in the category of performing arts.
- International Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition
- Dialogue on Intangible Cultural Heritage: Centered on the theme of “Intangible Cultural Heritage + Integration, Innovation, Technology, and Internationalization,” this dialogue will explore key topics such as the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage and its role in sustainable development.
- Intangible Cultural Heritage Market: The garden-style intangible cultural heritage market will include four themed sections: International Market Zone, Time-Honored Brands Zone, Grand Canal Zone, and “Intangible Cultural Heritage + Brands” Zone.
