We are going to go on a canoe trip down the River Ebro with children and young people aged 6 to 18. It is the most important river in our region. For centuries, thousands of logs were transported along it. The team working on the maintenance and conservation of timber rafting will accompany the trip, explaining and demonstrating what this trade, now declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, was like. What better way to do this than by paddling along the very same waters our ancestors travelled on!
