A community event in the local park with the neighbors, revisiting the tradition of Day of the Dead as we know it from Mexico. Music; traditional songs, Puppets, Masks, a Day of the dead altar, and a story about the meaning of day of the dead and how it applies to Quebec. 50 minutes free and open to the public.

This is a community theatre event. including workshops for maskmaking and theatre crafts during the month, plus music rehearsal and dance rehearsals, a small group perhaps 12 to 15 people with an audience of 50 to 75, One perfornmance in the nea by park. The object is to reveal and share cultural heritage especially mixing Quebec and southern Mexico. Plus to actually celbrate the occassion, dia de los Muertos and the idea that we can make contact with the lost souls of our families and our communities. Making use of the traditional altar and songs to achieve a vision of our intangible cultural heritage.
